Additional limits on bookmaking companies and totalizators
The Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation has drafted a government resolution regarding the "additional requirements to organizers of gambling" (hereinafter the resolution). The main goal of regulation is to establish additional requirements to organizers of gambling according to Passage 15, Federal Law Article 6 from the 29th of December, 2006, № 244-FZ "of the State regulation of the organization and conduct of gambling and on amending some legislative acts of the Russian Federation and particular legislative acts of the Russian Federation" (hereinafter the federal law), which entered into force on the 22nd of August, 2014.

Roskomnadzor and SRO blocked the access to the gambling sites in Russia
According to the resolution of Roskomnadzor from 22nd of March, all the access to several websites with gambling activity, illegally working on the territory of Russian Federation was blocked today. It happened after the appellation from Self Regulatory Organization of Bookmakers of Russia was passed to Roskomnadzor, due to the fight against illegal bookmaking activity on the Russian territory and on the threshold of the adoption of the new amendments to the Regulations.
